FAWN 8th annual FAWN-Tiger fundraiser a success!
On Friday evening, July 11th FAWN held its 8th annual FAWN-Tiger fundraiser with the Detroit Tigers vs. the Chicago White Sox. After 15 months of extreme COVID caution, circumstances have now opened up. What started off as a Corvid precaution restricted game limited to 8000 people opened up 3 weeks before our game to unrestricted attendance. For many of us, it was our first outing during that entire period. We had over 50 supporters who came from the Wayne County Pharmacy Association, the Oakland County Pharmacists Association, FAWN Students (see accompanying article), the Faith Christian Assembly, and St John Armenian Church. This event included great plays, a come from behind cliffhanger game, and even a torrential rainstorm!
We just wanted to thank all who supported us to make our FAWN Tiger fundraiser a success. We had a great turnout, and it was a great game. Special mention in particular to the Detroit Tiger Organization for their most generous support their support!
